Here
is some updated poetry and stories that the kids would like to share
with you. We have more, it just takes time to get them added.
The Cross of Christ
The cross of Christ means love to me
The cross of Christ means I am free
It means that I will never die
Someday I’ll live with Christ on high
It means that while I live down here
My Jesus Christ is always near
It means that hope can fill my soul
So I shout for joy everywhere I go
The cross of Christ means I am free
Cause Jesus gave His life for me.

Ode to my Grandparents
My Grandparents are special to me,
They make me happy as can be.
They love me no matter what I do,
They’re the best and I love them too.
They make me smile when I am sad,
They tell me stories about my dad.
They take me to the park for fun,
And watch me play until I’m done.
They give me lots of yummy treats,
Popcorn, candy and lots of sweets.
They let me stay up really late,
Then sleep in till way past eight.
I love my Grandparents so much,
They’re kind and have a special touch.
But what I like the very best,
What makes me feel so very blessed.
Is that for me they say a prayer,
It shows me that they really care.
They love Jesus just like I do,
He is their friend and helps them through.
My grandparents are the best you see
And I’m so thankful they belong to me.
